Abstract

The following study addresses how early access to technology can affect a child's literacy process. For a better understanding of this subject, bibliographic research and an interview with a psychiatrist doctor were carried out. The doctor answered unsettling questions about the relationship between technology and child development. Through studies and interviews, it was possible to analyze that several disorders can be triggered by early access to technology. This theme is of paramount importance to guide education professionals and society about its risks.
