Abstract

Playfulness plays a fundamental role in the teaching-learning process, allowing educators to understand aspects of students' personality and behavior. This study aims to reflect on the use of playfulness as a motivator in overcoming learning challenges. The bibliographic research, conducted in physical and virtual sources, including scientific articles on Google Scholar, underpins the theoretical and methodological foundations. It is emphasized that playfulness can be a valuable ally in the classroom, contributing to the prevention and overcoming of learning difficulties. When educators adopt playful activities, they ignite the students' interest and provide new learning opportunities for those facing challenges. It is essential for teachers to adapt methods to their reality, always seeking to improve their practice to create an environment conducive to the construction of rich and meaningful learning. In summary, the study proposes a reflection on the importance of playfulness in education, highlighting its motivational potential to overcome obstacles in learning. Bibliographic research provides solid foundations, revealing that playfulness can be a valuable component in the educational arsenal to promote an environment conducive to effective learning, especially when adapted sensitively to the specific needs of students.
