ASSESSMENT OF THE QUALITY OF PEDAGOGY COURSES IN THE EaD MODALIDA IN BRAZIL THROUGH MEC INDICATORS

It aimed to analyze the quality of Distance Education Pedagogy courses through the indicators established by the MEC. This is a documentary-based quantitative study, carried out at E-Mec, between April and May 2022. Variables: beginning of the course; administrative category of the educational institution; number of authorized places; preliminary course concept, ENADE grade, course concept, Indicator of Difference between Observed and Expected Performance and geographic location of the course. Pedagogy in Brazil represents the largest course in terms of number of students in this modality, implemented in 536 institutions. Administration: state, federal, municipal public, for-profit and non-profit, among the Brazilian states, with a total of 776,005 authorized vacancies. The Southeast region allocates 40% of the institutions followed by the Northeast 20.29%. EaD pedagogy courses in Brazil, are in compliance for functioning, more in terms of the quality factor, they fall short, providing an unsatisfactory and inefficient training process.
