The trajectory of deaf education is full of significant milestones, one of which is the creation of Associations that have contributed to the educational process, linguistic aspects and qualification for the world of work. In view of the above, the aim is to reflect on academic productions on deaf education and EFA linked to the Goiânia deaf association from 2012 to 2022. We carried out a bibliographic survey involving scientific articles, dissertations and theses in the databases of the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD), Google Scholar and SciELO Brazil, covering the period from 2012 to 2022. Based on the survey, 22 publications were analyzed, with an emphasis on the inclusion of deaf people in professional and technological education, we observed a low number of deaf students enrolled in this type of education, in addition to the lack of training and guidance for teachers to deal with these students and the importance of Associations in the professional development of deaf people. It is therefore necessary to increase the number of places available for deaf students in professional and technological education, as well as to guarantee initial and continuing training that addresses the specific characteristics of deaf people in the teaching and learning process, including Libras. In light of the above, it is important to stress that inclusion cannot be dictated by ready-made formulas and is not restricted to laws, but demands the creation of school environments that incorporate the principles of a humanized school.
