Abstract

This article reports on a pedagogical experience that employed the digital game StopotS as a playful tool in the teaching and learning of Portuguese Language, carried out with the 6th grade A class of the Final Years of Elementary School at Colégio Estadual Elias de Araújo Rocha. The proposal emerged from the teacher’s participation in the Formação em Pares program, which encouraged the adoption of active and innovative methodologies in the classroom. The activity aimed to review grammatical content through an interactive dynamic, fostering students’ engagement, collaboration, and critical reflection. The results indicated that the use of StopotS significantly contributed to content retention and demonstrated potential for adaptation to different curricular components, highlighting its relevance as a versatile pedagogical strategy aligned with Brazilian educational guidelines.
